Veteran iU author Arthur W. Hoffmann and latest release, “The Blue King”!

Arthur W. Hoffmann, a veteran iU author, discusses his latest release, The Blue King.

The Blue King is a fascinating adventure story about a little girl, her brother and their shaggy-dog, Teddy Bear.  A wild chase after a runaway soccer ball leads them to the discovery of a mystical “Blue Kingdom” located at the South Pole.  It turns out that the Blue King is the cousin of Saint Nicholas, who as we all know, resides at the North Pole.  The Blue King and Santa Claus communicate via C-mail (sea mail) with secret messages.  The heroine Kim, the little girl, answers, a mysterious riddle to open the secret C-mail capsule that results in the establishment of a humanitarian mission to promote Friendship, Understanding and Niceness among all children (and grown-ups) throughout the World.

The hard-cover book is color- illustrated and contains the happy Blue King song, words & guitar music score.

As for myself,  Arthur W. The new The Blue King book (2018) contains an Epilogue with promotional features.

The Epilogue describes the inspiration for The Blue King story that was a true-life experience based on children and soccer-moms during the establishment of junior soccer leagues in the U.S.  My daughter Kim and son Steve were placed on a bi-gender boy-girl team.  Girls were at a disadvantage and that became a depressing experience for Kim.  To console and inspire her, this became our bedtime story to motivate her.  It is a story that I believe has universal interest and carries a special message.  My hope is for The Blue King story to be adapted to a Holiday theme major movie.  My daughter is now a practicing  attorney involved in contract law.
