Kirkus Reviews are a respected name across the book publishing industry and the Kirkus awarded to books of exceptional merit is much coveted by authors across the globe. iUniverse Blog quickly congratulated the authors and publicized their achievement in both the Blog and across our social media sites. Indeed three of the authors came back to us with blog articles of their own that described their feelings on hearing the Kirkus Reviews news, plus their thoughts on writing, self-publishing and our good selves-iUniverse Publishing. The icing on the cake for one of these authors is that Cooper’s Promise author, Timothy Jay Smith, told us that he has since been signed by mainstream publisher, Owl Canyon Press.  You can see these posts by clicking on the respective book covers above or the links shown below. Last year was great for some of our iUniverse self-published authors and now Kirkus Reviews have just notified us that the deadline for submissions to the Best Indie Books 2013 is the 31st of August.

Kirkus Reviews Best Books of 2013All books named to the list will be marked permanently on the Kirkus site with a “Best of 2013” badge and recipients may promote the accolade by printing “Named to Kirkus Reviews’ Best Books of 2013″ on their book covers and marketing materials, on websites, in press materials, etc.

To stand a chance of achieving this much coveted accolade you will need to avail yourselves of one of the iUniverse Review Services which you see the full details about here.
